Optimef Spectral Reflex is a limited-edition watch design, created out of our desire to transform time into something more discrete, something that isn’t loud and doesn’t impose. We wanted to make the relationship with time a bit more mysterious and involve a sense of discovery. The mirrored face and hands simply reflect a fragment of the world around us, and only upon closer inspection reveal the time. The back of the hands incorporate Optimef’s distinctive colours that can only be seen at the right angle, a subtle reminder of our love for detail.

The concept of this model stems from our fascination with light and the way it affects everything we experience. We found inspiration in the idea that light reveals and conceals at the same time, and that it serves as a unique metaphor for the diversity of perception.
