Please find out the warranty period of your watch from the Warranty Certificate  included in the original packaging of your product. During this period you have the right to have the product replaced or repaired free of charge in case of lack of conformity, with the exception of cases in which the lack of conformity is minor. 

For the replacement/repair of the product within the warranty period, the product has to be accompanied by the following:

 

– receipt or proof of purchase

– original packaging with all accessories included

– warranty certificate

 

Failing to provide the above-mentioned documents leads to the invalidity of the warranty!

The estimated time frame for the replacement or the service of a product with a valid warranty is up to 15 calendar days.

 

This warranty does not in any way affect the consumers’ rights legally recognized by the law applicable in the product’s country of purchase.

 

CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY

If all recommendations and general instructions for use and storage presented in this Warranty Certificate are respected (and, where applicable, the specific instructions for use as well) and the product presents defects caused by inadequate materials or labor, we guarantee to repair or replace the product with a similar one without any additional costs from your behalf.  

The warranty does NOT cover:

 

– battery, crystal, strap, crown

– any damage or defect caused by inappropriate use of the product which does not correspond with the instructions presented in this Warranty Certificate

– any damage or defect caused by accidents or normal wear and tear and aging

– defect of internal or external components due to excessive exposure to solar radiation

– absence or modification of the serial number of the product; alterations in the original construction of the product;  interventions by non-authorized persons

– defects caused by nonobservance of the instructions for use regarding transport, handling or installing 

– any damage caused by shocks to the inner circuits 

– any damage caused by water, exception being products that are water resistant (please check the water resistance of the purchased product)

If the watch is exposed to water in other circumstances than the ones presented above, it will lose its warranty. 

 

Important! Chlorine/salt found in water could damage the watch. The strap may present stains or other signs of deterioration, rust may appear in the mechanism and condensation may appear under the display. It is highly recommended to avoid exposing the watch to such elements, and to remove it before taking a shower/bath. 

 

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND STORAGE

The watch has the following important parts:

 

  • dial and hands – display elements
  • stainless steel case – protection and casing element
  • hardened mineral crystal – protection and casing element
  • crown – adjusting element
  • Miyota quartz movement – internal functioning element
  • Sony Hg 0% battery (mercury-free)
  • silicone strap – fastening element

 

Functioning

Quartz wristwatches are functional from the moment of their purchase (if the crown is pushed into working position, which means closest to the case) and will work as long as their battery lasts. The accuracy of the watch is ensured by its three main components: the quartz crystal oscillator, the integrated circuit and the stepper motor. When the battery is discharged, it is recommended that it is immediately replaced in order to avoid any possible leakage and, therefore, damage to the mechanism. This operation should be carried out in an authorized service. 

 

The accepted divergence in the functioning of quartz and auto-quartz watches should be no more than +/- 15 seconds/month.  

 

Water resistance

One of the most important parameters of a watch is its level of protection against humidity and water in general, and watches are classified accordingly. The level of resistance of your watch is inscribed on the case back.

 

Warning! The level of water resistance and the watch’s tightness may change in time, depending on certain factors like: wear and tear, the general level of atmospheric humidity, level of pollution, way of using. 

 

The following precautions are recommended when using the watch:

  1. Never pull the crown when the watch isn’t completely dry.
  2. Do not pull the crown too hard. Use the tip of your fingers or your fingernails to control this movement
  1. c) Do not use the crown when the watch is in water or wet.
  2. d) Avoid significant variations in temperature as they may fog up the display.
  3. e) If condensation does appear, immediately pull the crown to position 2 and place the watch in a dry and warm place.
  4. f) Keep the watch in a dry place.
  5. g) If the watch is not worn for a longer period of time (one year or more), it is recommended to have the battery removed at an authorized service.
  6. h) Use a soft, damp piece of cloth to clean the watch. Do not submerge it in water.
  7. i) Occasionally verify the strap and the spring bars. In this way, chances of losing or accidentally damaging the watch decrease.
  8. j) Perform all maintenance operations (battery or crown replacement, periodic review) only at authorized services.
Sunglasses

Please find out the warranty period of your sunglasses from the Warranty Certificate  included in the original packaging of your product. The warranty is valid according to the Romanian law applicable at the date of purchase, providing that the product is used accordingly (as presented in the certificate), and only if it is accompanied by the receipt which serves as proof of purchase. Failing to provide this document, the warranty loses its validity. 

If the product deteriorates within the warranty period despite normal use, it will be repaired or replaced in 15 business days.   

If all recommendations and general instructions for use and storage presented in this Warranty Certificate are respected (and, where applicable, the specific instructions for use as well) and the product presents defects caused by inadequate materials or labor, we guarantee to repair or replace the product with a similar one without any additional costs from your behalf. However, any damage or defect caused by inappropriate use of the product, which does not correspond with the instructions presented in this Warranty Certificate, or any damage or defect caused by accidents or normal wear and tear and aging is not covered by the warranty. 

 This warranty does not affect consumer rights, stipulated in the legislation in force (OG21/1992; L 449/2003, amended and supplemented).

MAINTENANCE

For an appropriate maintenance of your sunglasses, please consider the following:

  • the glasses are to be kept in the case in which they were delivered to you; keep it away from moisture and temperatures which exceed -10°C and +35°C
  • to avoid scratching the lenses, never put the glasses with the lenses downwards onto rough surfaces, and never place it in pockets or bags without its case
  • protect your sunglasses from exceedingly hot surfaces, like the dashboard of a car in the sun
  • put on and take of your sunglasses using both hands
  • periodically check the screws of the frame, because in time they may come loose and can result in the lens falling out
  • for any repairs, address a specialist

 

CLEANING

  • the lenses should be cleaned using warm water and soap, and should be dried with soft materials

 

  • for a quick cleaning of the lenses, use the microfiber cloth that came with your sunglasses

 

 

  • do not use paper towels, dirty or abrasive cloths when wiping the lenses, nor should you use solvents or alcohol of any kind, as these may deteriorate the coatings applied onto the lenses 

 

 

  • have your optician recommend special cleaning and maintenance products, which suit the frame and the lenses. 

 

Warning! Sunglasses cannot be used to look directly into the sun, or to direct exposure to UV radiations from artificial sources of any kind. It is not appropriate for night-time use or when visibility is reduced. 

PRODUSE DIN PIELE

The warranty period of Optimef leather goods is 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only to defects in materials and workmanship and only where the products are properly handled and stored. The warranty is valid according only if it is accompanied by the receipt which serves as proof of purchase. Failing to provide this document, the warranty loses its validity. 

If all recommendations and general instructions for use are respected (and, where applicable, the specific instructions for use as well) and the product presents defects caused by inadequate materials or labor, we guarantee to repair or replace the product with a similar one without any additional costs from your behalf. Please note that our leather products are constructed using natural full grain leather. Incidental tonal variations, marks, veins and minor creases are natural features, not imperfections.

 

LEATHER GOODS CARE

To make sure you enjoy your Optimef bag for a long time, we recommend the following:

 

  • Materials such as patent leather or matt dark coloured leather could colour transfer or fade. Avoid repeated contact with other coloured material and overexposure to heat and direct light.

 

    •  Take extra care with light coloured items, which tend to mark more easily. They are susceptible to discolouration, so avoid contact with darker items.
    • Do not overfill your handbag, as it may lose shape or you may damage its handles.
    • Hardware should avoid hard contact with other objects and excessive movements.

 

  • Do not expose to moisture, perfume, chemical or oily products.
  • If leather should get wet, let it dry and rub gently with a soft cloth.
